MELISSA THOMPSON
Melissa first started her career in conveyancing back in 1997, as a conveyancing clerk for a small law firm where she quickly learnt to run the files from start to finish, with minimal supervision.
In 2001, she moved to London where she worked for 2 global law firms as a senior paralegal assisting on multi-million USD and GBP deals, including the sale and purchase of many international hotel chains, so even though Melissa wasn’t working in Victorian conveyancing, she was still working on property transactions.
Melissa returned to conveyancing in Victoria in 2016 when she joined Avesta Lawyers and hasn’t looked back. She loves helping her clients with all aspects of their conveyancing needs, especially helping them achieve their dream of property ownership.
Melissa holds an Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning and Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking.
She is currently studying for her Advanced Diploma of Conveyancing to obtain her conveyancer’s licence.
